eZ430-Chronos:
Your watch can be used only 1.5-2 years of wearing, then cracked and torn belt. How can I fix it? This problem occurs in all of my friends (who have a watch).
Perhaps in the new versions provide a standard clock (without inversion) LCD?

Such tools as eZ430-Chronos - being intended for RFID, bluetooth, Wi-Fi  and more other wireless applications - happens to be products in specific support status.

 

For getting any extra technical assistance, it requires to sign License Agreement and NDA (= Non-Disclosure Agreement) with local TI presentation in Moscow via your preferred TI supplier, and supported further only by assigned TI manager! 

Besides, due to cryptographic elements in (=EMS), for project with series production, there's needed  special permission by Russian legislation too. That's resolvable via local TI distributors too ( who could also assist in complains and probable replacement of broken products).

 

That's why, in order to resolve such your inquiry, as the first step, we would kindly advise you to contact your preferred TI dealer or, if it's unknown, one of our official distributors, who have dedicated technical support team of highly qualified specialists within Texas Instruments, committed to resolve your inquiry with high priority.

If you are constantly 'wearing' the TI tool like a watch, and have a torn strap, you could simply purchase a new strap, which suits to it.

TI has only 12-month warranty for all items, purchased at TI Store (including eZ430-Chronos in question... and it's essential parts, like strap). You may see, that any replacement is possible just within TI warranty period, not later. This is valid for all countries, including Russian Federation.

You can see this term in the TI 'Terms of Sale' yet before taking a decision to buy - just check it here (you can find the terms in any document for Europe, stated on several European Union languages): http://www.ti.com/lsds/ti/legal/termsofsale.page . If you are not agree with the terms, you needn't purchase TI product(s).

If you purchased the mentioned eZ430-Chronos at a TI distributor, so that information on TI warranty was in competence of the TI dealer!

Часы нужны были как информационное табло для гироскутера. Т.к. у гироскутера нет руля или какой-нибудь еще палки, на которую можно повесить устройство, то захотелось просто переписать программу часов. Менять по гарантии я ничего не собирался, просто я не могу продавать часы-спидометр, которые через 2 года развалятся и решил это написать в ti. А ты, вместо того чтоб трындеть о кораблях бороздящих просторы, взял бы да помог убогому общаться с дебилами из ti

Какой чип в часах - неинтересно, я на любой чип напишу программу, главное - товарный вид
