это значит что контроллер входов выходов и двигателей подключаеться к USB
We have made the following changes since our last update: the Robot Control Module (9 series I/O card) upgraded and renamed to new Machine Management Module (M3). Please note, these changes are to keep us in line with industry movement.
Advancements include:
1. Upgrade from USB 1.1 to USB 2.0
2. Implementation of Communication Watchdog Failsafe- insures the Model 914 stops moving if failsafe detects mainboard, application, or OS crash as well as power interruptions or power failures.
3. Addition of general I/O board with user definable analog and digital inputs and outputs.
4. the M3 is more robust – we've added higher quality connectors, electronic breakers for circuit protection
5. All external lighting on Model 914 is user programmable and managed by M3 for power management, activating low power LED when batteries drain, assigning emotive qualities to robot behaviors (ie red = angry, blue = content, green = happy) etc.
6. We've provided an SDK for access to all the functionality of M3

мож договоритесь чтоб вам только плату отдали =)
